About Us
Here at Samnak Santi Tham Theravada Buddhist Association, Kuching, we see the Buddhism value in everyone - merits making. Ajahn Kittiphat envisioned to be a catalyst for positive change, to teach the real essence of Theravada Buddhism and since our beginnings in 2015, we’ve been driven by Ajahn Kittiphat Kitjakaro the same ideas he initially founded our Non Profit Organization upon: Buddhism, Buddha Statue construction and temple building charity. About
Samnak Santi Tham is a non-profit Buddhist organization established since 2015, located at Bandar Baru Semariang, Kuching, Sarawak. This temple is open to public daily from 9am to 9pm. Dedicated to the Buddhist teachings, Phra Ajan Kittiphat Kitjakaro from Surin, Thailand and Lersi (Hermit Sage) from Thailand are available here to provide disciples in Buddhist education, prayer, blessing, meditation, to assist the unfortunate, to conduct Buddhist significance events : Wesak, Kathina (Monk Robe Giving). We invite monks from Thailand to undergo their 3 months Pansar Period (Buddhist Rain Retreat) here to let them experience retreat outside their own temple and country.

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with the busy and hectic lifestyle of the current world. Meditation camp is something that we emphasize very seriously, and our team organize meditation camp at the Borneo rainforest within Sarawak beaches and protected national park, away from the hustling and bustling of the town. Join us to learn more about our commitment to allowing people to connect with nothingness but their inner peace.

Food Donation Drop-Off
Helping The Community
At Samnak Santi Tham Theravada Buddhist Association, Kuching, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Food Donation Drop-Off is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can lend a helping hand for the less fortunate. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support. Do Sanghatan to our monks whereby blessings are dedicated for your merits-making, then the foods supplies shall be distributed to all charitable organisations like old folks home and orphanage.

With this initiative, our goal is to promote great opportunities for those who would go around Thailand's prestige and holy temples, with Ajahn Kittiphat as our teacher and guidance. With access to the right resources by the Master himself, devotees can become empowered by their own interest to visit all the temples with our fluent Mandarin speaking monks. Ajahn Kittiphat Kitjakaro, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in assisting temple 'Wat Tipakson Bankhanon' at Surin District, Thailand to build a very first 9m tall , 6m wide sitting Buddha statue. Temple construction is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this humble hut temple and its devotees. This international aid has been initiated by Ajahn Kittiphat since 2015, being one of his mission to bring development and a proper prayer hall to devotees. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
